Figure
out the best clothes
A Walsall-born woman is using
her personal experience to help ladies of all shapes and sizes
find suitable clothes.
Petite Clare Thomas, aged 30, has always found
it difficult to find clothes to fit her. She was so frustrated
that she discussed the issue with her friend Gaynor Wisdom, who
is also of a similar size.
Now after 18 months of research the pair believe
they have the answer to help others with a similar problem. Their
newly launched www.uniquelywoman.co.uk website contains
the names and details of over 760 suppliers of hard-to-find clothes.
The internet page caters for women of all sizes,
not just petites, who find it difficult when looking for clothing.
The site includes information for women who
have undergone mastectomies, organic clothing and also narrow,
large and tiny footwear.
Clare, who went to Queen Mary's High
School, said: "The inspiration for launching the site came
from personal experience of feeling there was not enough clothing
suppliers on the high street that supplied clothes to flatter
my own figure."
